Born and raised in Israel, designer Nitza Attali has been an active member of the local fashion industry since moving to Rhode Island in 1981. 

For many years, she was the fashion stylist and makeup artist for the fashion section of The Eagle, a local newspaper, as well as fashion coordinator and runway stylist for three of Rhode Island’s premier jewelry companies—Monet, Trifari and Mirabella. 

Nitza has also co-owned and worked as the stylist and makeup artist for a fashion photography studio and taught skincare and makeup at the Annette Donahue Modeling Agency. 

She is the sole designer for Exit by Nitza, a small RI company that produces handcrafted jewelry.  Formerly carried by Ashro, a catalogue house, The Icing, JC Penney, and a few boutiques around the country, Exit by Nitza is currently available at the Judith Klein Gallery in New Bedford and the LuLI Boutique on Hope Street.
